MPBanner are scam artists

Have you heard of this outfit? At some point you might so let me fill you in on how these people did me dirty..

It starts with a letter I wrote to Jay, who is one of the leaders at MP Banner pushing their services. After you reader my letter, you can see what MP Banner promised in their ad but it was pure bait and switch.  If you are considering using their services 'run like hell'! Find another provider that isn't going to rip you off.

Hi Jay,

I just purchased 4 banners from you.  I had received your email this past March and saved your email because your offer for making banners sounded fair. You quoted "We make Photographic/Digital BANNERS (huge and small, in great quantities or just one). Example: A 5 by 20 foot BANNER is only around $300. Other sign companies charge $850 to $1000."

On Thursday an opportunity arose for me where I could promote my business at a local fair which transpired today, Saturday.  So yesterday, recalling your fair offer, I contacted your company and without pricing any other competitors, I decided to use your company to have 4 banners produced for this event. Of course, I was happy that these banners were able to be produced on such short notice, but looking backwards I really feel like I was really given the shaft on what I was charged for the banners. Especially when you advertised in your email that a banner"s cost was only $3 per square foot!  Since I was in a rush, I overlooked this fact.

Check it out.  My invoice number is 5426.  I purchased four banners: 2 were 7.5 square feet each in size that cost $90 each or $12 per square foot and two others that totalled 10 square feet in all for another $90.  I have no problem with the art charge of $40 nor the shipping charge of $71 for FEDEX.  But I do have a major problem with the fact that I paid a $9 per square foot premium for a much easier job.  You cannot tell me that producing the small signs that were made for my company are anywhere near as difficult as producing a 5 foot by 20 foot banner.

My company is growing and expanding.  I also have many business associates with whom I share references.  Do you care if I pass your name along to other business people like myself? I hope you do. But I cannot unless, we can reach a resolution on a refund of at least $8 per square foot on the banners I purchased. 

I would like to use your services again and refer your company as well, but if this is the modus operandi of your outfit, then I will be sure to take my business elsewhere as well as warn anyone I can of Master Piece Banners deceitful tactics.
